As you hopefully know by now, we are celebrating the 15th Anniversary of the BASH tomorrow evening. One of the great traditions of The BASH has been the "dog tag" (compliments of Tri-Metal Industries, Inc.) our guests receive each year. As you can see, The Colonel is quite proud of his collection:

BASH Tent Trivia

Taking a look at our parking lot at 786 Delaware Avenue today, it's hard to believe. But 15 years ago, our first BASH took place under a single tent.

Clearly,The BASH has grown over the years. But do you know how much it's grown?? Between our parking lot and the front lawn, how many tents will there be for #BASH2013 on Friday night?? The BASH to Celebrate 15th Anniversary June 7

Tickets for “Buffalo’s Best Annual Fundraiser” on sale now

This party is going to be big! The BASH is celebrating its 15^th Anniversary on Friday, June 7, and tickets for this one-of-a-kind, military-themed fundraiser are available now at www.redcrossbash.org.

Over 4,000 people will wear their best military gear to the American Red Cross headquarters at 786 Delaware Avenue to enjoy food and drink from some of the area’s best restaurants while dancing the night away to the music of Signature Entertainment’s DJs and a live performance by the one and only Lance Diamond. BASH*2013 guests will also have the opportunity to bid on dozens of unique auction items donated by members of the Western New York community, including vacations, original works of art, jewelry and much more. All proceeds from The BASH stay right here to support the American Red Cross, Serving Erie & Niagara Counties’ mission of preventing, preparing for and responding to disaster in Western New York. Last year, BASH*2012 raised over $360,000 to support Red Cross Emergency Services.

BASH*2013 General Admission tickets are available for purchase online at www.redcrossbash.org. Each $75 ticket comes with two free drink tickets and all the food you can eat. For an even better deal, a limited number raffle tickets are available by calling (716) 878-2235. For $100, you get two General Admission tickets plus the chance to win $10,000, $5,000, or $2,500 in the BASH Raffle. Remember the "Where's Waldo" craze? People would spend hours looking at colorful pictures in large books for hidden images of a little man with a striped shirt, round glasses and a walking stick. Well, we're taking that idea to a new level this month, by rewarding your detective skills!

Each week throughout April, "The Colonel" from our BASH*2012 campaign (courtesy of our friends at Travers Collins!) will be taking his "kung-fu grip" to different locations in and around the City of Buffalo. We'll Tweet a picture on Monday, and first person to Tweet us back with his correct location will win a pair of General Admission tickets to BASH*2012! Of course, you have to be at least 21 years of age to win the tickets, and Red Cross employees and their families are not eligible.

This is a Twitter-only contest, so while you'll see the pictures and some details here and on Facebook, you'll need to follow @RedCrossBASH to have a chance to win. If you don't have a Twitter account, they're free and easy to set up at www.twitter.com.
